Good morning Terry Fox Ravens,

The City of Port Coquitlam has informed us about upcoming construction at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Riverwood Gate. This project includes the installation of a new traffic signal, streetlights, and pedestrian letdowns. Here’s what you need to know:

1. Construction is set to begin this week and is expected to last around 4 weeks.
2. Work will start no earlier than 8:30 a.m. each day.
3. The construction may involve sidewalk closures.
4. Traffic delays could happen at different times throughout the day.

Please plan for extra travel time in the mornings and afternoons due to potential slowdowns. For students who walk this route, please adhere to any signs and follow directions from the construction crew.

SUMMER LEARNING

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Students interested in registering for Summer Learning opportunities will be able to register on Wednesday May 8th, at 6am. Students are recommended to create/update their account (or profile) ahead, to ensure a smooth registration for courses on May 8th.

The camp will be held August 8^th-11^th at the Maple Ridge Justice Institute campus and at various fire departments across the lower mainland. The camp is a three night, three day overnight camp that aims to not only give female students a look into what a career in the fire service is like but also aims to build team work skills, learn about nutrition and fitness and give them an opportunity to meet new friends.

School Fees Online - All fees should be paid online including activity, course, sports, field trips, grad and workbooks. Instructions are included above. There are also permission forms that need to be checked off while you are in your School Fees Account.

Terry Fox Team & Driver Volunteer Package - Please fill out this form and turn into the main office. The Criminal Record Check fee will be waived by submitting the letter on the last page of this package

Terry Fox Website - We update our website on a regular basis. Here you will find most of the information you need including announcements, contacts, calendar and bell schedule.

Terry Fox App - We do not use paper agenda books. Please download our App from the Apple Store or Google Play. My School Day is the name of the App. When prompted, enter Terry Fox Secondary as your school. The App is free and available to parents and students.
